Job summary

TRM Labs is seeking a pragmatic backend engineer to design and build scalable APIs and services used by our customers. You will contribute to Node.js-based backends and collaborate with product and security teams to deliver robust platform features.

As an early member of the Product Engineering team, you’ll own key architectural decisions, emphasize performance, reliability, and ship fast in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment.

Qualifications

• Experience designing and building scalable systems, web apps, APIs, and services.
• Strong understanding of relational databases (Postgres) and analytical databases.
• Ability to translate customer pain points into technical and product requirements.
• High initiative and ownership; able to navigate ambiguity.
• Excellent problem structuring and prioritization.
• Effective written and verbal communication to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Proven collaboration in cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities
