Job summary

JPMorgan Chase is seeking a Software Engineer III to join the Infrastructure Platforms - Shared Infrastructure Solutions / Supply Chain team. You will design and deliver scalable, secure technology in a highly collaborative, agile environment.

You will contribute to architecture, implement production code, and drive AI-assisted development practices across the SDLC to improve quality and delivery speed. This role emphasizes security, resilience, and data‑driven improvements.

Qualifications

• AI fundamentals with understanding of core AI concepts.
• Hands-on experience in system design, development, testing, and operational stability.
• Deep understanding of cloud architecture, virtualization, APIs, data models, event-driven solutions, and modern software frameworks.
• Experience developing, debugging, and maintaining code in a large corporate environment with one or more modern programming languages and database-querying languages.
• Experience leading the use of AI-assisted development tools with code review, testing, and security validation.
• Strong understanding of responsible AI use, data sensitivity, and secure delivery practices.
• Knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle and Agile practices (CI/CD, resiliency, security).
• Familiarity with modern front-end technologies and cloud exposure.

Responsibilities

• Executes software solutions, design, development, and debugging with ability to tackle non-routine problems.
• Creates secure, high‑quality production code and maintains algorithms.
• Produces architecture artifacts and ensures design constraints are met.
• Promotes enterprise AI-assisted engineering practices to improve quality and speed.

• Develops visualizations and reporting from large datasets for continuous improvement.
• Identifies hidden data patterns to drive coding hygiene and architecture improvements.
• Contributes to engineering communities of practice and new tech exploration.
