G2 is seeking a Senior Software Engineer, Full-Stack in Austin to build and ship new products end-to-end with focus on AI-powered agents and frontier models. You will influence product concepts, drive architecture decisions, and deliver production-ready features across the stack.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of professional programming experience in web application and backend environments.
• Expert-level proficiency in Typescript/Javascript or Python; strong working knowledge of modern web application frameworks like React, Next.js, or Rails.
• Direct experience refining product requirements in collaboration with a product owner.
• Hands-on experience building AI and agent-powered features using frontier models from OpenAI, Anthropic, or Google, understanding of the strengths and limitations of frontier models.
• Regular use of coding agent harnesses like Claude Code, Codex, Opencode, or Pi as part of the daily software development workflow.
• Experience with continuous delivery through feature flagging and trunk-based development.
• BS/BA degree in related field

Responsibilities

• Build new products and features across the full software stack for production deployments.
• Design and build features using frontier models with prompting, context, tools, and model reasoning.
• Ensure solutions meet functional requirements with QA, evals, and tracing for measurable quality.
• Incorporate agentic software engineering techniques across SDLC from planning to maintenance.
• Partner with designers and PMs to define products and ship MVP iterations early in development phase.
