Job summary

eMed Healthcare UK in Miami is seeking a Senior Software Engineer (Full Stack) to design, build, and maintain critical platform components. You will collaborate with our US-based product team and leverage AI tools to deliver engaging user experiences.

The role requires strong TS/React/Node.js proficiency, experience across the stack, and a track record of shipping production-grade software. Onsite in Miami, you will mentor peers and help elevate engineering practices.

Qualifications

• Strong full-stack proficiency in TypeScript with React, React Native, Node.js or similar frameworks.
• Experience building mobile applications with solid UI/UX pattern knowledge.
• Proficiency with AI-native development tools and workflows (Cursor, Claude).
• Skilled in system design, scalable architecture, and backend/frontend development.
• Experience with AWS, Expo, Vercel or Camunda.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and development of complex systems or critical features.
• Work across the stack and leverage AI to implement ideas quickly.
• Perform hands-on R&D, build prototypes, and iterate based on results.
• Drive cross-team projects ensuring technical alignment and timely delivery.
• Set engineering standards via code reviews and documentation.
• Own production quality and monitor, debug, and resolve incidents.
• Mentor engineers and contribute to team strategy and roadmap discussions.
• Lead in-person daily stand-ups when needed.
• Contribute to cross-team tooling and practices.
