Job summary

GeneEase is a pioneering biotech startup building a data-driven diagnostic and personalization platform powered by AI and genomic data. We are seeking a Senior Full-Stack Software Engineer to help craft our first product and to shape both technology and culture within a small, fast-moving team.

You will own end-to-end development—from backend data pipelines to usable frontends—and collaborate closely with ML engineers and Product Managers to iterate on prototypes and MVP features.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of software engineering experience.
• Full-stack experience across backend, frontend, and cloud.
• Experience with ML/AI model integration.
• Strong background in APIs, data pipelines, and cloud infrastructure.
• Ability to own complex problems and deliver clean, scalable systems.

Responsibilities

• Build core components of GeneEase’s diagnostic platform from backend data pipelines to frontend interfaces.
• Design services to support genomic data ingestion, AI-driven insights, and personalized recommendations.
• Collaborate with Product, and engineers to iterate prototypes and MVP features.
• Integrate ML models into the product stack with ML engineers.
• Contribute to architectural decisions balancing speed, reliability, and scalability.
• Help build cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP, or similar) for development and deployment.
• Create and maintain APIs and internal tools for user-facing and data-science workflows.
