Job summary

First American Trust is seeking a Full Stack Senior Software Engineer to design, develop, and deploy secure cloud-native solutions in an Azure environment. You will build full-stack apps with Python and React, integrate REST APIs, and contribute to AI-enabled capabilities using Azure OpenAI and LLMs.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, follow agile practices, and mentor peers while upholding best practices for security, observability, and scalable delivery.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of software development experience with Python.
• Experience building cloud-native apps on Azure.
• Experience with React and modern web applications.
• Experience designing and consuming REST APIs.
• Experience working in Agile environments.
• Experience integrating AI capabilities into applications (Azure OpenAI, LLMs).

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain secure, scalable applications in an Azure cloud environment.
• Build full-stack solutions using Python, React, JavaScript/TypeScript, REST APIs, and microservice architectures.
• Modify and enhance existing applications; contribute to product delivery through coding and PR reviews.
• Design, develop, and integrate AI-powered capabilities using Azure OpenAI.
• Implement AI orchestration and inference pipelines with emphasis on performance and observability.
• Apply secure SDLC, CI/CD, testing, monitoring to production systems.
• Evaluate emerging AI tools and leverage AI-assisted development tools.
• Ensure data privacy, security, governance and compliance for AI-enabled features.
• Collaborate with Solution Architects, align on design, troubleshoot production issues.
• Mentor engineers on best practices and cloud-native patterns.
