Job summary

LaunchDarkly is seeking a Senior Full Stack Engineer for the AgentControl team. You’ll build the web interface customers use daily and scale AI evaluation systems, enabling agents to be configured, observed, and optimized without redeploys.

You’ll work primarily in Go, Python, and TypeScript, collaborate with product and design, and own production code including on-call responsibilities. This role offers strong growth in AI-driven features and distributed systems at scale.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of professional software engineering experience shipping production-grade full-stack features.
• Experience with designing, implementing, and maintaining RESTful APIs.
• Experience with distributed systems or data ingestion.
• Strong CS fundamentals and ownership mindset.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain scalable backend services, distributed systems, and APIs.
• Work primarily with Go, Python, and TypeScript; utilize AWS, CockroachDB, Datadog, and FastAPI.
• Collaborate with product, design, and other teams to translate challenges into features for GenAI workflows.
• Stay up-to-date with AI/ML advances and software development best practices.
• Optimize performance, reliability, and scalability of systems.
• Contribute to architecture discussions and trade-off decisions.
• Own code in production, participate in on-call rotations, mentor teammates.
