Job summary

LaunchDarkly is seeking a Full Stack Engineer to build customer-facing product experiences and the backend systems that support them. You will work across the application boundary from intuitive interfaces to reliable services, APIs, and data flows, helping customers understand, configure, and control software delivery.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience building and operating production software in a professional environment.
• Experience across both frontend and backend layers, with willingness to work at the API boundary.

Responsibilities

• Build and ship end-to-end product capabilities across frontend and backend systems.
• Develop user experiences using TypeScript and React, with services and APIs using Go, Python, or similar.
• Translate customer problems and product goals into thoughtful technical designs and incremental delivery plans.
• Own features from discovery and design through implementation, launch, measurement, and iteration.
• Collaborate with Product, Design, Data, and engineering partners to balance usability, performance, reliability, and time to value.
• Write readable, maintainable, well-tested code and contribute to shared engineering practices.
• Improve observability, operational health, and quality of the systems you touch.
• Participate in code reviews, incident response, and continuous improvement.
