Job summary

Pearson Carter are recruiting a Senior Full Stack Developer for a not-for-profit NHS-contracted healthcare organisation based in Manchester. The role is hybrid, requiring office attendance 2x per week, and focuses on greenfield projects to build secure, scalable applications for healthcare professionals.

You will work primarily with C# .NET 6+ and React, mentoring juniors, and integrating with NHS FHIR and other APIs while upholding GDPR and NHS information governance standards.

Qualifications

• 5 years of commercial experience in a full-stack role.
• Proficiency in C# and modern .NET (6+).
• Strong React skills with hooks, state management, and performance optimization.
• Experience designing and delivering cloud-hosted .NET services at scale.

Responsibilities

• Guide and contribute to the design, development and maintenance of a C# .NET-based greenfield healthcare application.
• Collaborate with clinical leads to translate user needs into software solutions.
• Write clean, scalable, and compliant code (GDPR, NHS IG).
• Provide technical mentorship to junior and mid-level developers.
• Conduct code reviews, testing, and debugging; pair with juniors when needed.
• Design, develop and support NHS FHIR, e-RS, and third-party API integrations.
