Westfield Health Group is seeking a hands-on Software Engineer to join a product-led delivery team in a hybrid setup in Sheffield, UK. You will build high-quality software following guidance from the Technical Lead with support from Senior Engineers, shaping scope and outcomes with the product team.

The role involves delivering features in a cloud-first environment, using IaC, automated testing, and DevOps practices.

Qualifications

• Proven track record in full-stack software development with C#/.NET or TypeScript.
• Experience in cloud-first environments with IaC.
• Automation-first approach with automated testing.
• StrongDevOps practices and CI/CD tooling.
• Familiarity with Agile methodology and planning tools.
• Nice to have exposure to HTTP-based apps, AngularJS, Next.js, AWS, CDK or Serverless.

Responsibilities

• Build reliable, resilient software solutions with observability tooling.
• Deliver features incrementally via small deployments.
• Validate functionality with automated tests.
• Design solutions delivering measurable business value.
• Propose alternative technical approaches when facing obstacles.
