Job summary

Ryerson is seeking a Senior Full Stack Developer to design and build front- and back-end web architecture, ensuring responsive applications and collaboration with designers on web features. This is a hybrid role requiring three days per week in our Downers Grove office.

You will manage the full software lifecycle, create reusable UI components with React and TypeScript, design serverless services with Serverless.com, and uphold code quality with Jest tests.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's in Computer Science or equivalent, or 10 years of relevant experience with a HS diploma.
• 3+ years with React.js and TypeScript; 5+ years overall software development experience.
• Experience with Node.js and Serverless.com.
• Familiarity with MySQL and MSSQL, and cloud technologies (AWS/Azure).
• Proficiency in Jest unit testing and building reusable UI components.

Responsibilities

• Manage the full software development lifecycle from conception to deployment.
• Build reusable UI components in React/TypeScript.
• Design and implement serverless services using Serverless.com.
• Ensure application responsiveness and maintain code quality through testing.
