Job summary

Kyndryl Inc. is seeking an Associate Director, Full-stack Forward Deployed Engineer in Frisco, TX, with hybrid onsite work three days a week. You will own end-to-end AI deployments, from frontend UI to robust backend pipelines, using Python/JavaScript and state-of-the-art RAG architectures.

You will lead enterprise AI engagements, design scalable architectures, and ensure production readiness, performance, security, and value delivery for clients.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of professional software engineering experience with Python and JavaScript/TypeScript backend development.
• Hands-on experience building, designing, and deploying apps using modern frameworks and orchestrators (LangChain, AutoGen, or CrewAI) in production.
• Experience designing and maintaining frontend apps (React, Angular, or Vue) with streaming data or real-time query responses.
• Practical understanding of Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) pipelines and vector databases (e.g., Pinecone, Milvus, Qdrant, Chroma).
• Experience deploying containerized apps with Docker and Kubernetes to cloud hyper-scalers (AWS/Azure/GCP).
• Strong proficiency with SQL (PostgreSQL) and NoSQL, and data tools like Pandas and Spark.
• Deep familiarity with Git, GitHub, CI/CD, and modern software delivery practices.

Responsibilities

• Lead full-stack architecture and rapid prototyping for enterprise AI solutions.
• Design and deploy frontends and backend APIs at scale with modern frameworks.
• Orchestrate multi-agent workflows and RAG pipelines with cost and performance controls.
• Collaborate with client teams to translate requirements into scalable technical designs.
• Document deployment learnings and share patterns across teams.
