Qualifications

Forward Deployed Data Engineer (Agentic AI & Data Platforms) | Frisco, TX (Hybrid)

As part of our innovation-focused Lab team, you'll work directly with enterprise clients to design, build, and scale the data foundations that power AI, machine learning, and autonomous systems.

We're looking for a Forward Deployed Data Engineer who enjoys solving complex real-world challenges, working closely with customers, and turning ideas into production-ready solutions.

What You'll Do

• Build and optimize scalable ETL/ELT pipelines for batch and real-time data processing
• Design cloud-native data architectures across AWS, Azure, and GCP
• Develop high-performance APIs and enterprise integrations
• Implement vector databases, semantic search, and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) solutions
• Support Agentic AI, Generative AI, and machine learning workloads
• Drive data quality, observability, governance, and compliance initiatives
• Collaborate directly with customers to deploy solutions and deliver measurable business value

What We're Looking For

• Strong Python and SQL development skills
• Experience with ETL/ELT pipelines and modern data engineering practices
• Hands-on experience with technologies such as Airflow, dbt, Kafka, Spark, or similar tools
• Experience with vector databases (Pinecone, Milvus, Weaviate, Chroma, Qdrant, etc.)
• Knowledge of RAG architectures, semantic search, AI/ML, or Agentic AI solutions
• Cloud experience in AWS, Azure, or GCP
• Experience building APIs and integrating enterprise systems
• Understanding of data governance, lineage, observability, and data quality frameworks
