Job summary

LT Ultra Precision Optics, LLC in Brighton, Michigan is seeking an experienced Full Charge Bookkeeper to handle day-to-day accounting for our small to mid-size operation.

The role covers AP/AR, invoicing, reconciliations, general ledger, payroll coordination, sales tax, and month-end close, with close collaboration with our outside CPA. This is an in-office position; compensation is based on experience.

Qualifications

• Hands-on full charge bookkeeping or accounting experience.
• Experience managing the full accounting cycle.
• Strong knowledge of AP, AR, bank reconciliations, general ledger, and month-end closing.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Excellent attention to detail and organization.
• Small business, manufacturing, or distribution experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Accounts payable and accounts receivable
• Customer invoicing and vendor payments
• Bank and credit card reconciliations
• General ledger maintenance
• Cash flow tracking
• Payroll coordination and related reporting
• Sales tax and routine accounting filings
• Month end reconciliations and financial reporting
• Working directly with our outside CPA and tax professionals
• Maintaining accurate accounting records and supporting documentation
• Assisting with general office responsibilities when needed
