Qualifications

• Degree or diploma in Mechanical/Chemical Engineering or Energy Systems, 6+ years preferred.
• Experience with commercial or industrial fuel-fired equipment and large-scale projects.
• Strong knowledge of fuel-burning equipment and related systems.
• Experience with hydrogen or alternative fuels is a plus.
• TIC industry experience is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Identify opportunities to expand CSA Group's fuel systems field services across commercial and industrial markets, particularly within major capital projects and large-scale fuel-fired installations.
• Develop, validate, and expand technical service offerings related to fuel-fired equipment, combustion systems, and associated infrastructure.
• Serve as a subject matter expert for fuel systems and combustion applications, providing technical guidance on equipment design, installation, operation, and safety requirements.
• Research applicable legislative and regulatory requirements, safety codes and standards, testing protocols, and emerging industry technologies.
• Develop technical scopes, estimate required resources and labor hours, and support project quotations and timelines.
• Coordinate with operational teams to ensure technical aspects of field evaluations and inspections meet safety and quality requirements.
• Support forecasting of future resource and competency requirements based on industry growth and emerging technologies.
• Represent CSA Group at industry events, technical committees, and trade shows; build relationships with manufacturers and engineering firms.
• Travel approximately 10% for client meetings, project visits, and industry events.
