Job summary

C&S Companies in the United States is seeking a Senior Project Engineer to join our Fuel Facility team. Location at a C&S office is preferred; however, a remote location is negotiable. Full-Time is preferred; however, Part-Time is negotiable.

The Senior Project Engineer will manage fueling systems projects across aviation, automotive, and related fueling markets, build client relationships, generate opportunities, and work with a multi-disciplinary design team to deliver projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical, environmental, or industrial engineering or similar field.
• 10+ years of experience working on flammable and combustible liquids fueling systems projects.
• PE license preferred or pursuing PE license.
• Understanding of flammable and combustible liquids engineering principles, methodologies, and tools.
• Ability to analyze complex engineering problems and develop effective solutions.
• Knowledge of industry standards, safety regulations, and environmental laws.
• Ability to write sequences of operation with P&IDs.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficient with Bluebeam, MS Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Experience with AutoCAD and/or Revit is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop effort budgets and schedules for prospective project pursuits.
• Develop client relationships and pursue new opportunities.
• Generate project opportunities and manage fueling systems projects.
• Optimize processes for efficiency, sustainability, and cost-effectiveness.
• Ensure compliance with codes and regulations; maintain up-to-date standards knowledge.
• Oversee QA protocols and conduct reviews of deliverables.
• Champion safety and risk management across project lifecycles.
• Develop P&IDs for Aviation, Automotive, Heating Oil, and Emergency Generator Systems.
• Communicate progress and issues to stakeholders.
• Mentor junior engineers and support professional development.
• Follow safe work practices and report hazards.
