The Fuel Systems Project Manager is responsible for the implementation of fuel systems projects from conception to completion. This position plans and manages multiple projects including development of project scope, goals, cost analysis, estimation of budgets, timelines, and resources required for successful and timely completion of projects.
Responsibilities
- Contact customer after receiving qualified prospect to determine specifications for quote
- Secure the best price in the quote process using effective negotiating skills
- Provide accurate timeline of project implementation and completion
- Compile project quote and submit to director of construction management for review prior to submission in the timeframe outlined
Project Management
- Communicate with customer and MEC interested parties once project is approved to coordinate scheduling
- Review and reconfirm scope of project with customer and contractors
- Coordinate securing of permits as needed for project
- Coordinate schedule for project implementation with site contacts
- Manage and track project from initial work to completion to ensure that project meets quote expectations, timelines, and scope of work
- Coordinate project work with the project coordinator
- As needed, provide final walk-through on projects
Project Accounting
- Coordinate project accounting with the project coordinator
- Track project expenses weekly throughout project life-cycle to ensure that projects are progressing on-time and on-budget
- Ensure that change orders are implemented in a timely manner after approval (if needed)
- Ensure that all invoices and relevant documentation are approved and submitted in a timely manner to project coordinator for processing, billing, and payment
Knowledge & Experience
- At least three years of Fuel Systems Project Management experience required
- Strong Excel and Microsoft Word skills
- Petroleum equipment function and installation experience required

- 40-hour hybrid work week (3 days in the office, 2 days remote is available once training is completed); Remote if not near a Mansfield office and you meet the minimum requirement for experience in petroleum systems.
- Ability to travel periodically (estimated at 5 to 8 days per month)

- Dexterity of hands and fingers to operate a computer keyboard, mouse, power tools, and other computer components
