Job summary

Baldor Specialty Foods is seeking a Supervisor, FSQA W&D to lead day-to-day food safety activities across its warehouse and distribution locations, ensuring compliance with FDA, USDA, FSMA, HACCP, and SQF standards.

You will supervise Food Safety associates, manage HACCP/CCP programs, conduct inspections and audits, provide training, and partner with operations to uphold a safe, compliant food safety program.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of FSMA, HACCP, and GFSI standards.
• Experience leading teams and building food safety culture.
• Ability to interpret CCP/CP and PC review processes.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Willingness to work weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with FDA/USDA and GFSI standards across locations.
• Supervise and mentor Food Safety associates across locations.
• Review HACCP/CCP programs and escalate deviations promptly.
• Conduct floor walks, GMP/pest inspections and document findings.
• Oversee Environmental Monitoring Program including trending.
• Lead audits and corrective actions, root-cause analysis.
• Coordinate recalls and traceability under Sr. Manager.
• Serve as backup for inspections from regulatory bodies.
• Maintain records and support training programs.
