Job summary

Baldor Specialty Foods, Inc. is seeking a Receiver to ensure inbound products are accurately received, inspected, and documented in compliance with food safety standards and company procedures.

You will be the first line of inspection for products entering the warehouse, contributing to inventory accuracy, product quality, and vendor compliance. The Receiver collaborates with Procurement, Operations, Inventory Control, Quality Control, and warehouse teams to verify deliveries, processing

Qualifications

• Experience in receiving, warehouse or distribution preferred.
• Familiar with WMS, RF scanners, handheld devices.
• Strong data entry and basic computer skills.
• Detail-oriented with focus on inventory accuracy.
• Ability to communicate issues to cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Receive and inspect inbound shipments against bills of lading and purchase orders.
• Unloading deliveries using pallet jacks and other equipment.
• Verify quantities, catch weights, lot codes, expiration dates and packaging integrity.
• Enter receiving transactions into warehouse management systems.
• Identify and document receiving discrepancies and quality concerns.
