Job summary

Baldor Specialty Foods is seeking a Supervisor, FSQA Manufacturing to guide day-to-day food safety activities across Baldor's facilities, providing leadership to Food Safety associates and team leads. This role ensures adherence to FDA, USDA, FSMA, and certification standards such as SQF, Organic, and Kosher.

The role includes leading inspections, education, and corrective actions, developing policies with the Food Safety Team, and supporting recalls and training.

Qualifications

• Comprehensive knowledge of FSMA and GFSI principles.
• Significant leadership experience in food safety culture.
• Comfortable working on-site in a food processing environment.

Responsibilities

• Ensure implementation of and day-to-day operational compliance with Baldor food safety programs across facilities.
• Serve as backup contact for FDA/USDA and audits.
• Provide leadership, coaching, and mentoring to Food Safety staff.
• Develop and execute components of Baldor's food safety policies.
• Conduct internal GAP assessments and drive corrective actions.
• Identify root causes of food safety issues and implement solutions.
• Oversee adherence to SQF, GMPs, and Preventive Controls.
• Support Kosher and Organic program inspections.
• Lead recalls, product holds, and recalls documentation.
• Support equipment installation and training coordination.
