Job summary

Blount Fine Foods in Fall River, MA is hiring a Quality Assurance/FSQ Technician on the 3rd shift to maintain and improve product quality and safety across operations. You will lead daily FSQ tasks, review HACCP/SSOP records, investigate non-conformances, coordinate with R&D and production, and drive continuous improvement while ensuring compliance with USDA/FDA guidelines.

Qualifications include an associate degree and 3+ years QA experience; HACCP certification within six months and SQF

Qualifications

• Associate's degree (A. A.) in a related field or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; 3+ years QA experience.
• HACCP certification within six months of hire and SQF implementation within one year.
• Valid driver's license, pre-employment and annual MVR and auto insurance checks per employee handbook.

Responsibilities

• Oversees HACCP, SSOP and other quality records to ensure conformance.
• Acts on non-conformances and initiates investigations.
• Assists management with product disposition and regulatory compliance (USDA/FDA).
• Leads FSQ technicians and coordinates daily tasks.
• Interacts with Operations to drive continuous improvement.
• Maintains finished product specifications and document control.
• Tracks and reports quality data and trend analyses.
