Job summary

Blount Fine Foods in Warren, RI, is seeking a Second Shift FSQ Technician to support the QA team in maintaining product quality and safety throughout production. You will assist with testing, inspections, and documentation, ensuring compliance with GMP/SSOP and batch records, while contributing to continuous improvement and accurate data entry.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma and experience in food handling or manufacturing; training is provided for equipment and QA processes.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma preferred; additional certifications a plus.
• Food handling and manufacturing experience preferred.
• Experience verifying paperwork and documentation.
• Willingness to perform shift-based quality inspections.

Responsibilities

• Assist FSQ leadership and perform daily QA tasks.
• Notify higher levels when non-conformances are noted and document properly.
• Perform finished product testing and data entry for FSQ activities.
• Conduct food safety inspections in production areas.
• Audit batch records and packaging to ensure specifications are met.
