Job summary

Blount Fine Foods, a family-owned manufacturer of premium fresh prepared foods, seeks a Food Safety & Quality (FSQ) Technician for the B Shift (8:00 PM – 5:00 AM), Monday through Friday. The role supports the FSQ team to uphold product quality and safety, perform testing, documentation, and ensure compliance with GMP, SSOP, and HACCP protocols.

Qualifications

• Ability to interpret safety rules, operating instructions, and procedures.
• Strong analytical skills used to identify problems and data-driven conclusions.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and able to operate relevant software.

Responsibilities

• Work under the direction of the FSQ Senior Technician and Supervisor each shift.
• Report and document any non-conformances to Level 2 technicians or higher.
• Perform finished product testing, record data, and complete documentation.
• Conduct food safety inspections in the production environment and verify inter-batch cleaning.
