Job summary

West Liberty Foods, a nationwide meat and poultry producer, seeks a Quality Assurance Technician for 3rd shift. You will perform regular quality inspections, monitor processes and products, and support the line with QA expertise to uphold safety standards.

Requires at least 1 year in a related role, HACCP preferred, and ability to lift up to 40 pounds. Excellent teamwork and basic computer skills are essential; shift premium applies.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a related role is preferred.
• Food manufacturing experience is preferred.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Authorized to work in the United States; no sponsorships available.
• HACCP certification is preferred.
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Must lift up to 40 pounds.
• Basic computer skills including Google Suite; good problem solving and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Complete regular quality checks on products and processes.
• Inspect and monitor processes and products for quality.
• Conduct pre-op on lines for cleanliness and document activities.
• Audit processes using specifications and monitor QA paperwork.
• Monitor meat quality, code dates, packaging, and labeling for quality issues.
• Ensure team members follow Good Manufacturing Procedures and temperatures are controlled.
• Support production with quality issues and collect shelf-life samples.
