Job summary

Bitwarden is seeking a Senior Front End Software Engineer (Vault) to shape front-end architecture and user experience across platforms. You will write clean, well-tested code, break down features, and collaborate with QA to ensure quality.

This all-remote role requires strong Angular/TypeScript/RxJS skills, plus experience with SQL Server, Node.js, Electron, and Rust for SDK work. You will engage with open-source communities and contribute to secure identity solutions.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience with Angular, TypeScript, and RxJS for front-end development.
• Strong technical writing skills and the ability to clearly communicate complex problems.
• Understanding of relational database design, optimization, and SQL Server a strong plus.
• Experience with Rust for cross-platform SDK development a strong plus.
• Collaborative and adaptable mindset.
• Openness and authenticity combined with excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Work collaboratively to break down and implement new features.
• Write clean, efficient, well-tested, and well-documented code.
• Take ownership of your work, partnering with QA to ensure tests are complete.
• Establish standards and advocate for performance optimization, scalability, and maintainability.
• Identify technical debt and collaborate with the team to minimize it.
• Direct and support decisions for new frameworks and technical direction.
• Review PRs and provide constructive, pointed feedback to help fellow team members grow.
• Collaborate with the Bitwarden open-source community to review community contributions and address issues in Github.
