Job summary

Bitwarden is seeking a software engineer to design and evolve backend and frontend components using .NET Core/C# and Angular/TypeScript. You will craft robust RESTful APIs and work with relational databases (SQL Server) to support enterprise-scale data and security features.

You’ll collaborate with QA and the open-source community, review PRs, and contribute to a transparent, trusted security platform. This remote US role requires strong communication and a passion for secure software.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience with .NET Core and C# for backend services.
• Strong proficiency with Angular, TypeScript, and RxJS for front-end development.
• Deep understanding of relational database design, optimization, and SQL Server.
• Demonstrated ability to design and implement RESTful APIs for enterprise-scale apps.
• Experience building features for enterprise customers where auditability, permissions, and compliance matter.
• Collaborative and adaptable mindset with excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of your work, partnering with QA to ensure that parts of the application are tested and complete.
• Design and evolve APIs, data models, and encrypted report structures for enterprise-scale data.
• Review PRs and provide constructive, pointed feedback to help team members grow.
• Collaborate with the Bitwarden open-source community to review contributions and address issues on GitHub.
