Verkada is seeking an experienced front-end engineer to join our Web Platform team in San Mateo. You’ll architect, design, and develop across high-impact projects, partnering with 8+ product teams to build a scalable web-based platform for enterprise devices.

You’ll drive microfrontend re-architecture, champion AI enablement across web engineering, and own CI/CD pipelines and automated testing to raise quality and velocity.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in front-end or platform web development.
• Expertise with React, TypeScript, Webpack, Vite.
• Proven track record of SPAs and microfrontend architectures.
• Experience configuring CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, CircleCI).
• Strong automated testing strategies and code quality.
• Interest in AI-assisted development and integration.
• Degree in Computer Science or related field.

Responsibilities

• Lead microfrontend transition to improve modularity and scalability.
• Mentor engineers across 8+ product teams and provide platform tools.
• Champion AI enablement across web engineering.
• Evaluate and design architecture with modern web tech.
• Own and optimize CI/CD pipelines to speed deployments.
• Establish automated testing standards and QA practices.
• Develop shared utilities and collaborate with the Design System team.
