Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking an experienced frontend engineer to architect, develop, and continuously enhance scalable web applications built on Next.js and React, focusing on performance, maintainability, and user experience. Qualifications

5+ years frontend engineering experience with React, Next.js, TypeScript.
Proficiency with component-based architecture, hooks, and modern state management.
Strong experience with MUI and building reusable design systems.
End-to-end web app workflows: API-driven development, authentication, performance optimization.
Comfort in AI-assisted development environments and CLI tools.

Responsibilities

Architect, develop, and enhance scalable web applications using Next.js and React.
Collaborate with product and design to translate requirements into solutions for customers and internal users.
Convert UX/UI concepts into production-ready code with reusable components and MUI systems.
Lead code and design reviews and mentor juniors, including AI-assisted workflows.
Work with backend engineers to design reliable APIs and optimize frontend-backend data flows.
Collaborate with QA to ensure test coverage and diagnose issues with AI tooling.
