Job summary

Jobtailor seeks a senior frontend engineer to lead AI-augmented engineering and ship features that leverage AI tools. You will collaborate with peers to design scalable web applications and deliver experiences with modern web tech.

You will craft large, performant apps using TypeScript, Web Components, and modular architectures, while integrating AI/LLM capabilities across teams. Mentorship and architecture input are valued, with active participation in reviews.

Qualifications

Bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
8+ years of experience developing modern Web applications with strong fundamentals.
Experience building large, performance-conscious, interactive web applications.
Experience with TypeScript.
Experience with Generative AI and LLMs.
Experience with AI Coding Tools.
Experience working with large, modular products and codebases.

Responsibilities

Drive the cultural and technical shift toward AI-augmented engineering, empowering peers to work smarter and ship faster.
Transform development patterns and deliver new experiences to users by employing AI tools.
Translate new browser technologies into real value for users.
Work with modern Web technologies such as Web Components to create portable, reusable UI.
Work with research and other engineering teams to integrate and refine AI and LLM experiences.
Help shape architectural and product design details when tasks or specifications are open-ended.
Collaborate with teammates across all functional disciplines to ensure quality in all phases of development.
Write beautiful, self-documenting code that others can easily read and adapt.
Write and review engineering documents, review design specs and participate in regular code reviews.
