Job summary

Assemble is seeking a frontend-focused engineer to own parts of the product, component library, and APIs in a small, fast-moving team. You will work across the stack in a TS/GraphQL monorepo and help shape user experiences with scalable frontend solutions.

You’ll collaborate with product and design to translate customer needs into polished UI, while contributing to a culture of high performance and thoughtful craft.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience with modern web frontend code, ideally React.
• Strong understanding of frontend development and end-to-end web stacks.
• Excellent written and verbal communication for technical teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Architect and write high quality frontend code for our SaaS product, building reusable components and complex user experiences.
• Collaborate with product/design to understand requirements and ship iterations on a weekly cadence.
• Contribute to GraphQL APIs and server code when needed as part of a full-stack team.
• Shape engineering culture, standards, tooling, and processes to raise quality.
• Help build a successful business that does well by doing good.
