Job summary

Muon Space is seeking a Software Engineer for its Mission Frontend team in San Jose, CA. You will build and ship features in a modern TypeScript monorepo, owning end-to-end delivery from design to deployment, and ensuring reliability and performance for operators and customers.

You will collaborate with backend and product teams, participate in design reviews, and contribute to CI/CD and testing practices to maintain high-quality code across a unified web platform.

Qualifications

• BS/MS in Computer Science or related field or equivalent industry experience.
• 5+ years of software engineering experience.
• Strong typed frontend experience with TypeScript or Flow.
• Experience contributing to complex web applications.

Responsibilities

• Build and ship features across Muon Space's Mission Frontend platform.
• Own features end-to-end from design through deployment and post-launch monitoring.
• Participate in code reviews and technical design discussions to raise quality.
• Collaborate with backend and product teams to define requirements as needed.
• Support operational health of the features you ship via observability tooling.
