Muon Space, based in Silicon Valley with operations in San Jose, seeks a Staff Software Engineer for the Information Systems team. You will own end-to-end internal software platforms, leading architecture decisions and hands-on development to streamline workflows for multiple internal groups.

Ideal candidates have 10+ years of full-stack experience, deep Python/JavaScript expertise, and proficiency with PostgreSQL, MongoDB, and InfluxDB, plus REST/GraphQL APIs.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of full-stack software engineering experience.
• Expertise with Python and Javascript, plus React/Angular.
• Experience selecting and deploying SQL/NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, MongoDB, InfluxDB).

Responsibilities

• Lead platform and tool development on the Information Systems team.
• Hands-on software development of internal tools.
• Align roadmaps with product requirements and mission needs.
