Job summary

Muon Space is seeking a Software Engineer for the Mission Frontend team to build features across the Mission Command platform, a unified frontend for mission operations, customer-facing tools, and internal workflows. You will own features end-to-end in a modern TypeScript monorepo, collaborating on design, deployment, and post-launch health.

This hybrid role requires on-site work in San Jose, CA three days per week.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of software engineering experience, ideally with strongly-typed frontend languages such as TypeScript or Flow.
• Experience contributing to complex web applications and working in CI/CD pipelines with static analysis enforcement.
• Proficiency in code revision management within large, fast-moving teams.
• Demonstrated ability to design and build frontend features end-to-end with testing and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Build and ship features across Muon Space's unified web platform for operators, customers, and internal users.
• Own features end-to-end from design to deployment with test coverage and post-launch monitoring.
• Participate in code reviews and technical design discussions to raise quality across the team.
• Collaborate with backend and product teams to define requirements.
• Maintain operational health of features via observability tools and performance improvements.
