Qualifications

• BS degree in Computer Science, or a similar technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 5+ years of professional software development in one or more general purpose languages (Go, Python, Ruby, Java, C++).
• Experience with GraphQL/REST/HTTP/gRPC/Thrift basics and API design.

Responsibilities

• Work cross-functionally with product, design, and engineering teams to ship features that customers will love.
• Contribute to full development cycle: design, development, testing, experimentation, and launch.
• Design and implement end-to-end fullstack solutions for web media player UI (React, TypeScript) and backend APIs (Go, Python).
• Balance speed and quality while avoiding critical bugs and over-processes.
• Review code and designs, provide feedback on specs and mocks.
• Collaborate with client/platform engineers to improve media performance globally.
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to developer workflow improvements.
