Job summary

Coinbase, Inc. is seeking a Senior Software Engineer, Frontend (Platform - Identity) to own user-facing experiences for login, signup, OAuth, account security, and multi-factor authentication. You will lead end-to-end frontend delivery, mentor engineers, and shape the Native vs Webview strategy to balance latency and user experience.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of production frontend experience with React and TypeScript.
• Authored and driven technical design docs through cross-functional review and implementation on major initiatives.
• Experience mentoring engineers and leading team rituals.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end frontend projects from design to deployment for login, signup, OAuth, and authentication surfaces.
• Author and review technical design documents and break down complex initiatives.
• Drive Identity's Native vs Webview architecture strategy and evaluate latency, reliability, and UX.
• Identify and resolve technical debt and code quality issues across the codebase.
• Lead team rituals including on-call, code reviews, and incident response.
