Job summary

Jobgether SRL is seeking a Senior Frontend Engineer I - eCommerce in the United States. You will build and optimize an eCommerce booking platform, enabling service selection, payments, and scheduling.

You will lead frontend features with React, Next.js App Router, and TypeScript, collaborating with Product, Design, Marketing, and BackendEngineering to drive conversion and reliability while upholding accessibility and performance.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of frontend engineering experience with React and TypeScript.
• Strong experience with Next.js including routing and SSR.
• Solid understanding of semantic HTML, CSS, and responsive design.
• Experience with data-fetching and state-management (TanStack Query, Zustand, Redux).
• Experience building complex forms and transactional user journeys.
• Strong testing practices (Vitest/Jest, Testing Library, Playwright/Cypress).
• Experience with checkout or payment flows and security.
• Knowledge of WCAG 2.1 AA and web performance (Core Web Vitals).
• Familiarity with analytics and monitoring tools (Datadog RUM, Sentry, PostHog).
• CI/CD and cloud hosting (GitHub Actions, AWS).
• Ability to lead features end-to-end and mentor others.
• Proactive, collaborative communicator across teams.

Responsibilities

• Own key frontend features across the eCommerce booking flow, including checkout and scheduling.
• Build fast, accessible experiences using React, Next.js App Router, and TypeScript.
• Collaborate with Product/Marketing to design experiments and measure outcomes.
• Contribute to frontend architecture and API contracts.
• Integrate with Stripe, Auth0, and other services.
• Instrument features with analytics and observability tools.
• Improve performance and Core Web Vitals for high-traffic journeys.
• Develop automated tests across components and end-to-end levels.
• Release features with feature flags and monitor production outcomes.
• Mentor junior engineers and participate in code reviews.
