Elsevier is seeking an experienced Senior Software Engineer (Full Stack) to build cutting-edge frontends for a healthcare mission-driven organization. You will collaborate with Product, UX designers, and other engineers to deliver client-side applications using React and Node.js across large web monoliths and micro-frontends.

This role emphasizes an automation mindset, CI/CD, accessibility, performance, and secure, scalable web apps.

Qualifications

Proficient in React front-end and Node.js back end.
Experience with large web monoliths.
End-to-end project lifecycle experience.
Strong Agile delivery experience.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain complex applications using React (front end) and Node.js (back end).
Ensure seamless integration between client-side and server-side components to deliver scalable web apps.
Develop user interfaces for a large web monolith and micro-frontends with accessibility and performance in mind.
Implement and optimize UI components aligned with enterprise design systems.
Lead applications through the full SDLC from requirements to deployment and maintenance.
Ensure high-quality releases via CI, code reviews, and automated testing.
