Job summary

Prenuvo is seeking a Senior Frontend Engineer I to join the eCommerce team, shaping the online booking flow across countries. You will own features from checkout to scheduling, work with Next.js and TypeScript, and impact conversion and patient trust in production.

You will collaborate with Product, Design, Marketing, and Backend teams, emphasize accessibility and performance, and ship with feature flags while mentoring teammates.

Qualifications

• Typically 4+ years of professional frontend engineering experience, including at least 3 years building production applications with React and TypeScript.
• Strong experience with Next.js or a comparable React framework, including SSR, routing, and SSR vs CSR tradeoffs.
• Deep understanding of browser fundamentals and modern CSS.
• Experience with modern data-fetching and state management patterns and with complex, validated, multi-step forms.
• Strong testing practices across unit, component, and end-to-end layers.
• Experience building checkout, payment, or other transactional flows where correctness and reliability matter.
• WCAG 2.1 AA accessibility and web performance awareness.
• Experience with frontend observability and product analytics tooling.
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD and cloud hosting (e.g., GitHub Actions, AWS).
• Track record of leading complex features from design through production.
• Startup mindset with willingness to tackle ambiguous work while balancing speed and quality.
• Excellent communication across engineering, design, and business teams.

Responsibilities

• Own features and components within an area of the booking experience, such as checkout and payments, scheduling, or the sales-assisted and partner flows, growing toward owning the area end to end.
• Collaborate with Product and Marketing on growth: run experiments on the booking funnel and interpret results with statistical rigor.
• Build fast, accessible, customer-facing features with React, Next.js, and TypeScript.
• Contribute to frontend architecture with proposals on component boundaries, server/client state, and type-safe forms.
• Integrate booking with commerce APIs and third-party services like Stripe.
• Instrument what you ship with analytics and monitoring tools while respecting user consent.
• Improve Core Web Vitals, bundle size, and rendering performance for a revenue-critical funnel.
• Ensure accessibility by default and implement automated checks in CI.
• Write automated tests with Vitest, Testing Library, and Playwright or Cypress.
• Own production outcomes behind feature flags and monitor dashboards post-release.
• Collaborate with Product, Design, Marketing, and Backend engineers, contributing to shared component libraries and API contracts.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers.
• Leverage AI-assisted development tools within a structured build-review-test workflow.
