Job summary

VEG is building technology to help hospital teams deliver exceptional emergency care for pets and their families. As a Senior Frontend Software Engineer, you will develop the DogByte product and other internal interfaces, ensuring reliability and scalability across hospital operations.

You will collaborate across design, product, and engineering, expand your skill set beyond frontend, and contribute to a growing platform used by VEG’s nationwide network of hospitals.

Qualifications

Strong frontend judgment and ability to translate user workflows into interfaces.
Experience owning frontend from problem framing to production release.
Experience with performance, accessibility, and maintainability in UI components.
Familiarity with AI-enabled tooling to improve development workflows.

Responsibilities

Build and improve the frontend of DogByte and internal products to support clinical care, financial health, and workflows.
Own projects end-to-end from design to production release, including testing and rollout.
Collaborate with Design to enforce design system standards and accessible interfaces.
Set frontend best practices across the codebase, including architecture and testing.
