Job summary

Vetcove is seeking a Staff Frontend Engineer to lead architecture and evolution of our user-facing experiences across web and mobile platforms. You’ll own frontend systems that power tens of thousands of veterinary professionals and millions of pet parents, shaping performance, usability, and maintainability at scale.

You will define frontend strategy, establish best practices, mentor engineers, and collaborate with product, design, and backend teams to deliver cohesive, high-quality features.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of software engineering experience with a frontend focus.
• Strong expertise in JavaScript/TypeScript and React.
• Bachelor's degree in CS or related field.

Responsibilities

• Lead architecture and frontend delivery across web and mobile platforms.
• Develop high-performance React and React Native applications.
• Define frontend best practices and scalable design systems.
• Mentor junior frontend engineers and guide project direction.
• Collaborate with product, design, and backend teams to deliver user-centered features.
