Job summary

VEG, the world’s veterinary emergency company, is seeking an experienced Product Manager for our DogByte practice management system. You’ll translate hospital needs into a clear product strategy and roadmap, partnering with Engineering, Design, Data, IT, Clinical, and Field Operations to support veterinarians and staff.

You’ll drive discovery, write specs, and guide the product team through research, design, build, and launch, aiming to raise care standards, improve hospital efficiency, and

Qualifications

• Proven product management with discovery through launch and iteration.
• Experience building roadmaps and communicating tradeoffs to stakeholders.
• Ability to ground decisions in data and user research.
• Track record of partnering with Engineering, Design, Data and Clinical teams.

Responsibilities

• Partner with clinicians and hospital staff to understand workflows and translate pain points into requirements.
• Build quarterly and yearly roadmaps with prioritization discussions for the business.
• Collaborate with Clinical, Field Operations, Customer Experience, Data, Growth and VQ leadership to align decisions with VEG priorities.
• Define and monitor KPIs to track success of DogByte initiatives.
• Coordinate with clinical and technical support to ensure smooth adoption in hospitals.
• Write clear product specs, user stories, and acceptance criteria for new features.
• Work with design and engineering through research, design, development and launch lifecycles.
• Drive discovery via interviews, usage data and support insights to validate problems and solutions.
• Participate in key sprint ceremonies to guide the product team.
