Job summary

Tenet3, based in Dayton, OH, seeks a Senior Frontend Software Engineer to drive large UI features, lead architecture improvements, and mentor engineers across the team.

You will advance modern front-end technologies, design systems, and accessibility while contributing to engineering strategy. The ideal candidate has 7+ years of frontend experience and a proven record mentoring junior developers. Experience with Pixi.js, WebGL, and performance optimization is a plus.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of frontend software engineering experience.
• Deep expertise in JavaScript/TypeScript, React, HTML, CSS.
• Strong understanding of accessibility standards and design systems.
• Experience mentoring junior to mid-level engineers and leading reviews.
• Ability to translate product requirements into scalable UI architectures.
• Familiarity with performance profiling and optimization.

Responsibilities

• Lead large-scale frontend features with minimal oversight.
• Design reusable architecture patterns and contribute to shared tooling.
• Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks and accessibility issues.
• Mentor associate and mid-level engineers; conduct code reviews and pair programming.
• Collaborate with design and product to align UI with strategy.
• Influence roadmaps with technical feasibility insights and risk mitigation.
• Leverage Pixi.js/WebGL to build performant 2D frontends and optimize with Web Workers.
