Job summary

Washington Abstract Inc. is seeking a Senior Frontend Engineer to own the frontend of the Abstract platform. You will architect and build features, integrate AI-powered APIs, and drive the evolution of the design system with close collaboration with the CTO.

You will lead frontend architecture, work with React/Next.js and Tailwind CSS, and ensure high performance while integrating streaming AI data and secure API calls. Hybrid work between NYC and Salt Lake City is available.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Deep expertise with React, Next.js, and Tailwind CSS.
• Strong API integration and data flow handling skills.
• Comfort building around AI systems and streaming responses.
• Proactive communication and collaborative mindset.
