Job summary

Tenet3 is seeking a junior Frontend Software Engineer in Dayton, Ohio, to build reliable, accessible user-facing components using React, HTML, and CSS. Working under guidance of senior engineers, you’ll implement scoped features, contribute to code quality, and apply user-centered design principles.

Ideal candidates have 1–3 years of frontend experience, knowledge of semantic HTML and responsive design, and familiarity with Git, Jira, and agile workflows.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of frontend development experience (including college internships).
• Familiarity with semantic HTML, responsive design, and version control systems (Git/GitHub).
• Experience with Agile tools (e.g., Jira, GitHub Issues).
• Clear written and verbal technical communication; willingness to contribute in standups and reviews.

Responsibilities

• Build user-facing features using React, HTML, and CSS with accessible UI.
• Contribute to scoped tickets and user stories; participate in code reviews.
• Debug UI issues, improve performance and accessibility, and address blockers.
• Attend team standups, demos, and retrospectives; provide clear updates.
