Job summary

State Street seeks a Front-Office Software Development Trading Engineer for the CRIMS product. You will define client requirements, configure and tune the application, test workflows, and resolve issues to meet client needs.

You will interact with support teams and product resources, handling XML messaging, web services, ETL tools, Java or C#, and database tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent field.
• 4–5+ years in Financial/Software Services with front-office systems background.
• Ability to travel 30–50% to client sites in the US and Canada.
• Hands-on experience in XML messaging, web services API, ETL tools, Java and/or C#, and database administration.
• Strong communication, requirements gathering, and client interaction skills.

Responsibilities

• Java and C# programming on CRIMS front-office solutions.
• Lead multiple technical initiatives and coordinate with analysts, PMs and customers.
• Develop, test, and integrate inbound/outbound interfaces.
• Collaborate with business analysts, project managers, and customer staff.
• Serve as a technical expert in implementation or support projects.
