Job summary

Charles River Development, a part of State Street, is seeking a Front-Office Software Technical Trading Engineer to join our implementation team. You will work on the Charles River IMS suite, including integration with third-party systems, XML messaging, web services API, ETL tooling, and Java and/or C# development alongside database administration tasks.

Strong travel (50-80%) to client sites across US/Canada is required.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of progressively responsible experience in Financial/Software Services.
• Financial market information systems background preferred.
• Strong communication and client-interaction skills.

Responsibilities

• Java and C# programming
• Lead and manage multiple technical initiatives across projects
• Develop with a result-driven approach while meeting schedules
• Participate in requirements gathering and reviews
• Create, test, and correct inbound and outbound interfaces
• Collaborate with business analysts, PMs, and customer staff
• Serve as a technical expert in implementation projects
• Contribute to technical documentation
