Job summary

Nuveen Taxable Fixed Income Technology is hiring a Senior Business Systems Analyst who will partner with Front Office (PMs, Traders, Research) to support change and transformation across the front office tech stack. Responsibilities include creating BRD, maintaining product backlog, testing, UAT, and rollout, with strong emphasis on CRIMS (Charles River) configuration and integration.

Qualifications

• 3+ yrs of Business Systems Analyst experience.
• Experience in State Street’s OMS – CRIMS (Charles River MS) – Setup, Configuration, Integration, Implementation, Testing, Support.
• Experience on key CRIMS Components – Manager Workbench, Compliance, What-if, Rebalancer and more.
• Experience in SQL, Linux/Unix/Python scripting, office tools (Excel/PPT/Word), JIRA, Service Now.

Responsibilities

• Identifies and analyzes business needs, conducts requirement gathering, and defines scope and objectives of each project.
• Leads the identification of portions of the organization's IT platform/infrastructure with the highest potential return for cloud deployment.
• Implements the organization's global strategies and initiatives to enhance Information Technology plans, operations and procedures.
• Translates business requirements into application requirements, and works with all members of the team to execute the application successfully.
• Engages client teams and explains moderately complex initiatives in an understandable manner, while also addressing any hesitations or concerns from the client.
• Estimates the costs of various system solutions and prepares project plans to provide input into decisions about prioritizing projects and allocating IT resources.
• Prepares and maintains technical documentation to guide system users and to assist with the ongoing operation, maintenance, and development of the system.
• Coaches and reviews the work of lower level professionals.
• Reviews and conducts cost/benefit evaluation of cloud solutions compared to virtual private networks, dedicated hosting, and in-house solutions.
• Determines the technical feasibility of adopting external cloud based IT platform and infrastructure services within the organization.
