Job summary

MilliporeSigma is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead major capital projects from concept to FEL 2 and handoff to regional teams. You will manage scope, schedule, budget, risk, and quality, coordinating across design, engineering, operations, and finance to deliver compliant, cost-effective investment solutions.

The role requires 10+ years of experience in engineering or capital-projects, exceptional communication, and willingness to travel up to 20% to support multiple US locations.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication, facilitation, organization, and stakeholder-influencing skills; fluent English is mandatory.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related technical field is required; Master’s degree is an advantage.
• 10+ years of experience leading engineering, project-management, or capital-investment projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development of 2-3 large, complex capital projects annually from concept through FEL 2 and handoff.
• Manage project scope, schedule, budget, risk, quality, interfaces, documentation, and change management.
• Coordinate internal and external design, engineering, and construction resources; oversee design firms and service providers.
• Prepare inputs for capital approvals including business cases, cost and schedule assumptions, and risk-mitigation plans.
