Job summary

MilliporeSigma in Milwaukee, WI, is seeking a Project Engineer to oversee site engineering activities across labs, distribution, chemical packaging, and admin areas. You will independently manage timelines and communicate with staff, stakeholders, clients, and regulators.

You will lead capital projects up to $2M, coordinate up to 75 trades, review deviations, CAPAs, risk assessments, and ensure safety, budget, and schedule. CAD skills and HVAC/fire protection design are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering.
• 5+ years of work experience in plant engineering.

Responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate Capital projects up to $2MM from initiation to closeout.
• Coordinate construction projects of up to 75 tradesmen.
• Support deviations (events), CAPAs, and change controls.
• Complete, review, and/or approve site risk assessments.
• Create schedules and manage subcontractors and internal support functions.
• Procure consultants, contractors, equipment, and materials for capital projects.
• Report project status to management with emphasis on safety, budget, schedule, scope, and risks.
• Plan timelines and ensure safe, timely completion with documentary compliance.
• Solve complex problems by analyzing data and observing operations.
• Manage projects in regulated environments such as OSHA PSM.
