Job summary

Henderson Hospital is seeking a Senior Manager of Front Desk Operations — Registration and Insurance Training to lead the development and deployment of a standardized registration and insurance training program across 25 medical entry points. You will ensure staff are proficient in accurate patient registration, insurance verification, and COB documentation, while reducing denials.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration, business administration, education, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Five years in patient access, registration, insurance verification, front-end revenue cycle, or ambulatory operations.
• At least three years in leadership supervising teams.
• Demonstrated experience developing and delivering registration or insurance training.
• Strong knowledge of insurance eligibility, benefits, COB, payer identification, referrals, authorization workflows, POS processes.
• Experience with EHR and practice-management systems.
• Ability to develop training materials, assess competency, conduct audits, and evaluate performance data.
• Strong facilitation, coaching, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain a standardized registration and insurance training program for all staff.
• Create role-specific learning pathways for front-desk roles, schedulers, and supervisors.
• Deliver instructor-led, virtual, hands-on, and scenario-based training.
• Maintain annual training calendars and coordinate with leaders to ensure coverage.
• Develop train-the-trainer resources and support site-based trainers.
• Update content with payer changes and system updates.
• Maintain centralized, version-controlled training materials.
• Evaluate training impact on competency and operational outcomes.
• Educate on patient identification, demographics, and registration updates.
